UN Condemns Russia for Drone Strikes in Ukraine

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres has issued a strong condemnation of Russia's recent air attacks on Ukraine, describing Friday's assault as the largest of its kind since the conflict began. In an official statement, Guterres denounced the latest series of extensive drone and missile strikes carried out by Russian forces.

The Secretary-General called for an immediate, complete, and unconditional ceasefire, expressing deep concern over the escalation of hostilities and the increasing number of civilian casualties. Guterres emphasized that attacks targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure are prohibited under international law and must cease without delay.
