Over 50 Killed in Attack in Nigeria

At least 52 individuals have lost their lives in an attack carried out by unidentified assailants in Nigeria, according to a source from the Red Cross. The incident took place on Sunday evening in the villages of Zike and Kimakpa, located in Plateau State. The Red Cross representative informed the news agency AFP that the search for additional victims is ongoing, with reports indicating that 30 others sustained injuries and approximately 30 homes were set ablaze during the assault. Amnesty International has reported a higher death toll of 54 and noted that the violence has forced several hundred residents to flee the area.
