Toddler refuses to walk: tips for encouraging independence
My 2.5-year-old daughter refuses to walk when we’re out. She insists on being carried all the time. Interestingly, her daycare tells me she loves going on walks there, so it seems she’s perfectly capable of walking when she wants to.
I’m at a loss for how to handle this. Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? Any tips or strategies for encouraging her to walk on her own?
