Starting over as a single mom: tips and advice needed

I separated from my children’s father nearly a year ago. He’s Swedish and has recently decided to move back to Sweden. He even mentioned that he wouldn’t mind taking the kids with him, but that’s absolutely out of the question for me. My children, who are 8 and 11 years old, are staying here with me.

This means I’m about to embark on a completely new chapter as a full-time single mom. To be honest, I’m really nervous about what’s ahead.

Has anyone else been in a similar situation? I’d love to hear your experiences, any advice you might have, and information about what kind of support I might be entitled to. How did you adjust to being the sole parent?
